8th Grader Performs Miracles

On May 7, ndtv.com reported that an eight grade student in southern India (the same general area as Bhagavan's Golden City) had begun performing healing miracles.

This 13-year-old lives in Choutuppal, which is 60 kilometers from Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh, and multitudes have been thronging to her home to receive her blessings.

Her name is Sailaja, but now goes by the name Amma Bhagwan, and her healing abilities apparently came in late April after she and her family had attended a puja. She claims that she can cure most all diseases, even the very serious ones like AIDS, cancer, and diabetes.

If you get a chance to visit her, be sure to let us know about your experience.

Next Online Enlightenment Event is May 20. For details go here.

A Zen Teaching

A university professor had heard of a famous Zen master and felt very called to visit him. During their visit the master quietly poured a cup of tea to serve his visitor, while the professor talked on and on about his perceptions of Zen.

The master poured the professor's cup all the way to the rim, and then continued to pour. As the professor watched this overfilling, he could finally no longer keep quiet about it. "The cup is full and can hold no more!" the professor blurted out.

"You are like the cup," replied the master, "How can I teach you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"

Enlightenment is a lot like this.
It's a process of empting the cup of your "self."
